Dynamic picture effect

See how to create dynamic picture effect in flash 8, on a simple way, without Action Script. You will also learn How to import an image in Flash, How to convert a bitmap image into a symbol and more.



Step 1

Create a new flash document, choose Modify > Document and set Frame rate to 35fps (Frames per second).



Step 2

Choose File > Import > Import to Stage, and import any picture. Using the Align Panel (Ctrl+F3), center the picture with background.



Step 3

While the picture is still selected, press F8 key and convert it into a Graphic Symbol.



Step 4

Click on frame 40, and press F5. Go back on frame 1, press Ctrl+C key (Copy), insert a new layer (layer2), select it, and press Ctrl+Shift+V (Paste in Place).

Step 5

Click on frame 10, 25 and 40 of layer2, and press F6.



Step 6

Go back on frame 10, select the picture, take the Free Transform Tool (Q), and increase the picture a little. After that, while the picture is still selected, open the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3), and under Color choose Alpha and set it to 0%. Repeat this process for frame 40.

Step 7

Select layer2, and in Properties Panel under Tween choose Motion.
