Shape effect

This tutorial will show you how to create some shape effect using the Shape Hint. To create this tutorial, you don't have to use Action Script. You will also learn how to use Selection Tool and more.

Example:



Step 1

Open a new flash document, press Ctrl+J key (Document Properties) and set width to 280px and Height to 130px. Frame rate set to 30 fps (Frames per second) and press ok. See the picture below! 



Step 2 

 Click on the first frame of layer 1 and draw a "cube" like the picture below shows you.



Step 3

Click on thirtieth frame of layer 1, press F6, take the Selection Tool (V) and do like it is shown on the picture below.



Step 4

Click somewhere between first and thirtieth frame, open the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) and under Tween choose Shape.





Step 5

Click on the first frame to select the "cube", and after that click on Modify > Shape > Add Shape Hint (Ctrl+Shift+H). Now, you get this:



Step 6

Press thrice Ctrl+Shift+H key and place the Shape Hint on the position like it is shown on the picture below.



Step 7

Click on thirtieth frame and place the Shape Hint in the position like it is shown on the picture below.



We're done!
